1. Shut off pump.
2. Open the pump basket.
3. Clean out any debris in the pump basket.
4. Place the Crystal Capsule in the pump basket—flat end down, rounded end up.
5. Close the pump basket.
6. Turn the pump back on.
7. Once a week check the pump basket for debris following steps 1 – 6 above.

Note: check the pump basket more frequently during times when debris is heavy.

The Crystal Capsule works with all sanitizing systems and filtration systems. The Crystal Capsule is not a replacement for pool chemicals. A sanitizing system must be in place to operate the Crystal Capsule. The Crystal Capsule works best in water temperatures of 65 degrees or more.

Warning: The Crystal Capsule has a strong magnetic field output. Those with pacemakers or other medical devices should not handle this device. Keep a five foot distance between the Crystal Capsule and other electronic and CRT based equipment.
