CSU
Installation Instructions
Step
1 Attach a suction hose(1 ½ inch vacuum hose,
filter suction hose, or auto vac suction hose) to the end of the
CSU with the hose fitting.
Step
2 Carefully lower the CSU into the water being sure
that the hose and the CSU fill with water.
Important The CSU is heavy and must be lowered and
lifted out of the pool using rope or twine.
Step
3 Insert the other end of the hose directly to the
skimmer, or thread a hose adapter into the bottom of the skimmer
and attach the end of the hose onto the adapter. This will insure
that if the pump is turned off, the hose will remain in place.
Step
4 Adjust the skimmer and main drain valves to achieve
optimum water flow. The CSU will restrict water flow through the
skimmer.
Important Be sure that the skimmer with
the CSU attached, does not starve the pump.
Step
5 Keep
the pump and heater running until you have achieved the desired
results. This could be from 1 to 7 days depending on the water
quality and the surface condition of the pool.
The Crystal Capsule CSU works with all sanitizing
systems and filtration systems. The Crystal Capsule CSU is not a
replacement for pool chemicals. A sanitizing system must be in place
to operate the Crystal Capsule CSU. The Crystal Capsule CSU works
best in water temperatures of 65 degrees or more.
Warning:
The Crystal Capsule CSU has a strong magnetic field output. Those
with pacemakers or other medical devices should not handle this
device. Keep a five foot distance between the Crystal Capsule CSU
and other electronic and CRT based equipment.
